The Garaf\u00eda Tourism offices are part of the group of companies themed in astrotourism \u2018Stars Island La Palma\u2019 since April 6, 2016.<\/p>\n

Llano Negro Tourist Information Office, stands out for its proximity to El Roque de Los Muchachos since starting from there, by car and in approximately 35 minutes, the top of the island is reached.<\/p>\n

Given its proximity to access to the O.R.M., and through a collaborative project with the Instituto of Astrof\u00edsica of Canarias (I.A.C.), it hosts a permanent photographic exhibition, with giant photographs of the O.R.M., provided by the Institute itself.<\/p>\n

Las Tricias Tourist Information Office occupies the old mansion of Los Barreros, in front of the church of the neighborhood that gives it its name, and is divided into 4 rooms with information and photographs of tourist interest that visitors can visit, including an exhibition hall.<\/p>\n

This office welcomes anyone who enters the northwest side of the municipality, highlighting that starting from there and in just an hour by car you reach the Observatory.<\/p>\n

In both offices there are exclusive spaces dedicated to astrotourism, with reference material in Spanish and English for the dissemination of the scientific activity of the IAC, complemented with brochures and information of tourist interest in astrotourism activities on the island.<\/p>\n

In both offices, the calendar “StoryStellArt 2021-22″, by Vanessa Sancho, is exhibited for purchase and postcards of the Town Hall of the Villa de Garaf\u00eda are offered, where the astrophysical facilities of the O.R.M. stand out.<\/p>\n

The two offices offer detailed information about the municipality, being Roque de Los Muchachos one of the main and recommended points, among other emblematic places such as: Santo Domingo, its capital; the Port of Santo Domingo; Fajana de Franceses; the coast of Juan Adalid;\u00a0 the Cultural Park of La Zarza; the hamlets of El Tablado and Franceses; the Leisure and Nature Park of San Antonio del Monte; the vineyard area of Briesta and El Castillo; the dragon forests of Buracas and El Palmar or the traditional windmills of Las Tricias (nowadays, converted into the Gofio Interpretation Museum (MIGO), Santo Domingo and Llano Negro.<\/p>\n
