A viewpoint with exceptional conditions for educational observation of the night sky. Its panel explains various issues related to the surroundings, such as the link between the nearby windmill and the mythology of Ceres and the dragon trees. Archeoastronomy subjects are mentioned. You are invited to try your hand at astrophotography. There are four star charts which help visitors to recognize the constellations. It has a signpost pointing to Polaris, and a wheel-planisphere which helps visitors locate the circumpolar constellations: the Dipper and Cassiopeia.
