This viewpoint invites you to observe our natural satellite. It has a lunar map and description of a series of practical activities which can be performed, such as tracking its phases and observing the terminator (the line between the sunlit and shadowed parts of the moon). It has a signpost pointing to Polaris, and a wheel-planisphere which helps locate the circumpolar constellations: the Dipper and Cassiopeia.
