A viewpoint with exceptional conditions for educational observation of the night sky. Its main panel describes the winter constellation of Orion, invites the visitor to observe it, and explains its link to past cultures. It also compares the size of the stars and their apparent size from our point of view. It has a signpost pointing to Polaris, and a wheel-planisphere which helps locate the circumpolar constellations: the Dipper and Cassiopeia.
