Festivalito La Palma 2024

To get off to a good start, on Tuesday, June 18, we will warm up the engines with a talk on the use of music in film, by Music Library & SFX, which is also a sponsor of the event and has an arsenal of great songs available to participants.

One of the biggest is the Festivalito LAB, where 12 brave people will create shorts from zero to one hundred under the supervision of film stars, starting on Thursday, June 20 with a program of activities parallel to the Festivalito La Palma, but which will also be very entertaining for the public.

As for music, the Festivalito Sonora will make you vibrate with artists of all kinds: Albert Pla, Malformaciones Kongénitas, Tihuya Cats, Ponzoñosos, Guagua Band, Noches de Fantasía and the DJ Graja Sound. Admission is free for all concerts, except for Albert Pla’s, which you already know is going to be a hit and you can get tickets for here.

And the cinema? Get your popcorn ready because the Festivalito Cinerama will screen more than thirty films shot in La Palma and its surroundings, with the presence of many of its creators and protagonists. In addition, there will be screenings in the streets of El Paso and Santa Cruz de La Palma so that cinema can be breathed in every corner.

But it’s not all about showbiz, there are also meetings with greats like Malena Alterio, Lola Dueñas, Mario Iglesias and the aforementioned Albert Pla, from June 22 to 24 at the Bar Central in El Paso. A dream come true within everyone’s reach!

The pearl, as you already know, is La Palma Rueda, which will turn the island into the largest set in the world with more than a hundred filmmakers already signed up. Creativity and talent are going to be on fire!

And pay attention, because the Festivalito La Palma is bringing it with sustainability: ecological filming workshops, public transport, responsible consumption and support for local products. Everything designed to enjoy, without leaving a bad mark on the island.

ORGANIZATION XIX FESTIVALITO LA PALMA – FESTIVAL DE LAS ESTRELLAS

The Festivalito La Palma is an initiative of the production company Chukumi Studio. Its main promoters and institutional sponsors are the Cabildo of La Palma, through the Department of Culture and Historical Heritage and the Department of Tourism, and the Government of the Canary Islands through Promotur Islas Canarias and the Department of Universities, Science and Innovation and Culture. They are joined by the sponsorship of the town councils of El Paso and Santa Cruz de La Palma, as well as La Palma World Biosphere Reserve, La Palma Film Commission, Isla Bonita Love Festival, Sodepal, the Insular Water Council of La Palma and Canary Islands Film.
